• Thorough knowledge of Community Supervision goals, objectives and policies.
• Experience in case planning, structured intervention worksheets and delegated authority.
• Understanding of Evidenced Based Practices, Justice Reinvestment and sentencing guidelines.
• Ability to establish productive alliances with colleagues, court officials and community partners.
• Proactive professional development including the DAC Career Progression Program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Probation/Parole Officers, Judicial Services Coordinators and clerical staff.
• Coordinate workflow to implement Community Supervision goals and strategies.
• Manage daily operations, case assignments, scheduling and time tracking.
• Provide staff coaching, training and performance oversight.
• Handle crises, make quick decisions and participate in on-call/EHA responses.
