Job summary

Oliver Wyman in the United States is seeking a Principal to lead client teams across technology, telecom, and private equity engagements. You will guide strategy, due diligence, and value creation while collaborating with Partners to drive successful outcomes.

The role emphasizes developing intellectual capital, mentoring staff, and building client relationships. Travel up to 50% is expected based on project needs and locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of strategy consulting and/or CMT/TMT industry experience + Private Capital experience
• Commercial Due Diligence expertise
• Strong background in conceptual problem solving and analytical skills
• Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced and demanding environments
• Outstanding communication skills; confidence in presenting to senior executives
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
• Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the time)

Responsibilities

• Providing day to day leadership of client projects and aspects of the client relationship and commercial process within those relationships, teaming with Partners and shares responsibility for the success of engagements
• Leading and managing complex programs to ensure on-time delivery that meets goals, leveraging best practice and firm expertise
• Guiding and influencing clients across situations, becoming trusted advisors
• Engaging in building business by identifying new and expanded opportunities
• Creating intellectual capital through thought leadership and cross-topic knowledge
• Developing others and building a followership as part of asset building for the firm
• Leading firm-building activities and modeling firm values with a strong personal brand
