S&P Global is seeking a Principal Consultant focused on critical minerals in New York. The role involves leading analytical work, developing market analyses, and managing client engagements within the energy transition consulting team.

The candidate will contribute to building the critical minerals capabilities, working with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, on-time deliverables and support business development activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting, economics, or financial advisory.
• In-depth knowledge of metals, mining and critical minerals.
• Ability to develop fact-based hypotheses and executive narratives.
• Excellent written and oral English; Spanish/Portuguese helpful.

Responsabilités

• Manage workstreams within a project under the project manager.
• Develop market analyses, forecasts, and price outlooks for critical minerals.
• Build cost, financial, market, and valuation models across value chains.
• Create client-ready insights and deliverables.
• Conduct client interviews, workshops, and presentations.
• Review and guide analyses done by team members.
• Support business development for the critical minerals practice.
• Maintain client relationships and understand client needs.
• Work autonomously in executing engagements.
