JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Principal Architect to provide leadership of architectural designs, construction documents, and specifications, potentially serving as Architect of Record for projects. The role requires strategic direction, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder relationships to exceed design targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field is required.
• NAAB-accredited architecture program preferred.
• Master’s degree in architecture preferred.
• 12+ years architectural experience preferred.
• 5+ years people management preferred.
• Cross-disciplinary knowledge of architectural, civil, structural, MEP disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for architectural designs, construction documents, and specifications.
• Serve as Architect of Record for assigned projects.
• Guide strategic plan in partnership with leaders.
• Oversee delivery of design services and client management.
• Lead project pursuits and client development.
• Manage staff and review technical documents.
• Ensure design targets are met across projects.
