Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Principal Architect to lead architectural designs, construction documents, and specifications for industrial/manufacturing projects. This role may serve as Architect of Record, directing strategy, operational excellence, and stakeholder relationships to meet design targets.

Responsibilities include project leadership, client management, and professional service delivery across planning, design, and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Required).
• 12+ years architectural experience (Preferred).
• 5+ years people management (Preferred).
• Cross-functional knowledge of Architectural, Civil, Structural, MEP.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for architectural design, construction documents, and specifications.
• Serve as Architect of Record for assigned projects.
• Oversee client relations, project team performance, and client satisfaction.
• Guide lifecycle from planning to close-out with design excellence.
• Develop strategies for growth and pursue new opportunities.
