Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Design Manager 1 to lead design teams, coordinate with trade partners, and ensure delivery of coordinated documents across design-build or design-assist projects. This role supports project goals and aligns with JE Dunn’s strategy, vision, and values.

Responsibilities include managing design partners, reviewing documents for compliance, and guiding the design through cost-saving and schedule optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field (Preferred)
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Interprets formal design build RFPs and develops work plans with stakeholders.
• Manages outside design consultants to meet technical requirements and schedules.
• Reviews design deliverables and ensures codes and criteria are met.
• Coordinates design document packaging strategies with the project team.
