Job summary

Lyft is building a centralized Pricing, Yield & Compensation function to bring rigor and visibility to pricing, yield, and seller compensation. The Manager will own CPM floors, rate cards, and margin targets for direct-sold inventory and oversee the Audience Extension service.

A cross-functional operator will collaborate with Finance, Analytics, Sales, and Accounting daily. We seek 4-7 years in yield or pricing roles with strong finance modeling and experience in programmatic ad economics.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in yield management, pricing strategy, revenue operations, media operations, or sales compensation.
• Strong financial modeling; Excel/Google Sheets mastery for margin analysis and compensation.
• Experience designing or calculating sales compensation at scale.
• Familiarity with programmatic advertising economics (CPMs, floor pricing).
• Proven ability to work with Finance, Analytics, Legal, and Sales stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own direct inventory pricing and CPM floors for Lyft Ads across formats.
• Set pricing tiers and evaluate custom deals against margin thresholds.
• Monitor sellthrough, utilization, and margin; report in weekly/monthly reviews.
• Oversee Audience Extension vendor performance and CPM targets.
• Review vendor campaigns, CPMs, pacing, and margin with remediation expectations.
• Maintain a health scorecard for AudEx managed service and report to leadership.
• Design and administer commission plans for Lyft Ads and Lyft Business sellers.
• Manage end-to-end compensation calculations and reconcile with Accounting.
• Build commission modeling infrastructure and answer seller inquiries.
• Coordinate AdTech system questions affecting pricing accuracy and revenue recognition.
