Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Commercial Finance & Operations Analysis Manager in Plymouth, MI. This role links bid assumptions to delivered results, building data-backed pricing for new business and tracking performance against bid economics to guide leadership decisions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Operations, and Finance to drive profitable growth, deploying KPI dashboards and consistent data standards to enable a single source of truth across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen including margin, cost-to-serve, and unit economics.
• Experience building financial models to support decisions (RFP pricing, margin analysis, investments).
• GAAP understanding and P&L structure knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regular reporting to senior leadership on bid performance vs. economics (revenue, unit cost, margin, volume).
• Identify variances early; diagnose root causes; recommend pricing, operational, or contractual actions to close gaps.
• Assist with margin expansion through analysis of operational performance.
• Partner with Sales/Account Management to respond to RFPs, bids, and spot rate requests with competitive pricing.
• Build and maintain pricing models reflecting lane economics, capacity, costs, fuel, and market conditions.
• Translate bid assumptions into clear, defensible recommendations balancing win rate and profitability.
• Design and maintain dashboards providing real-time operational health visibility.
• Establish single source of truth with consistent metric definitions and data standards.
• Build financial models for ad hoc projects to support leadership decisions.
• Automate recurring reporting and improve data quality and turnaround time.
