Job summary

CBT Cincinnati is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our Profit Optimization Department. You will analyze pricing, margin, and vendor data to identify opportunities and develop recommendations that balance competitiveness with profitability.

You don't need a traditional pricing background; we value strong analytical skills and commercial insight from sales, product, procurement, or related roles. The role offers growth as you partner with Sales, Procurement, and Product teams to drive pricing

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant business experience in pricing, analytics, product management, procurement, sales, or sales operations.
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data.
Analytical curiosity and the ability to turn information into practical business recommendations.
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Analyze pricing, sales, margin, customer, product, and vendor data to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop pricing recommendations balancing competitiveness, customer needs, and profitability.
Partner with Sales on competitive opportunities and pricing decisions.
Work with Procurement and Product teams to evaluate vendor programs and cost changes.
Support customer pricing programs such as SPAs and exceptions.
Analyze impact of price changes, tariffs, and market conditions.
Develop and improve pricing tools, reports, dashboards, and resources used by the team.
Roll out approved pricing strategies across departments.
