Job summary

Total Quality Logistics in Cincinnati is seeking a Pricing Analyst to partner with sales teams and craft competitive pricing for new and existing customers. You’ll translate market data into informed recommendations that drive revenue growth and win large-scale bids.

You will forecast costs, analyze market conditions, and collaborate with IT and Product teams to enhance pricing tools and methodologies, ensuring accurate, timely bid pricing across the organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound pricing recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings to sales professionals and leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary pricing resource for sales representatives completing bid requests for prospective and existing customers.
• Analyze requests and provide accurate truck-pay forecasts using internal pricing tools, historical data and current market conditions.
• Partner with sales reps and sales leadership to develop customer pricing strategies for large, complex or high-value bids.
• Evaluate trends to identify market shifts, pricing risks and opportunities.
• Communicate pricing recommendations, assumptions and market considerations clearly to sales representatives.
• Monitor bid performance and pricing outcomes to improve the accuracy and competitiveness of future recommendations.
• Help enhance pricing algorithms and forecasting methodologies so internal tools more accurately reflect anticipated rates.
• Partner with IT and Product Management to identify, test and implement improvements to pricing tools.
• Incorporate external data and market intelligence when appropriate to strengthen internal pricing analysis.
• Manage multiple pricing requests and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
