Job summary
Parker Hannifin Des Plaines location seeks a Pricing Analyst to support pricing analysis, reporting, and recommendations for profitability and pricing effectiveness. You will evaluate customer value, market conditions, product costs, discounting, and pricing performance while developing knowledge of pricing processes and tools.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; Power BI/Tableau experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in pricing, analytics, or related business functions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data interpretation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI/Tableau preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support pricing processes, tools, systems, and reports.
- Analyze product markets and recommend floor/ceiling prices.
- Evaluate pricing factors such as volume, cost, competition, channel, and profitability.
- Develop product cost estimates to support quote reviews and profitability.
- Align with corporate pricing initiatives, policies, and standard processes.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc pricing reports for management.
