Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support pricing strategy and execution in a hybrid office setting in Marlborough, MA. You will analyze pricing trends, monitor competitor activity, and collaborate with Merchandising and Finance to optimize margins and category performance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 0–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of pricing strategy, margin management, and category financial performance.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, or BI tools; SAP familiarity is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to influence cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned categories by monitoring pricing, margin performance, and competitive positioning.
• Develop data-driven pricing recommendations balancing competitiveness, profitability and value.
• Execute pricing changes accurately in line with pricing targets.
• Monitor category margins and forecast-based performance to identify corrective actions.
• Evaluate performance and recommend pricing adjustments to meet sales and financial goals.
• Analyze large datasets to identify pricing opportunities and trends.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Finance and other teams to support pricing decisions.
• Assess pricing levers to improve results and align with business objectives.
