Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Pricing Analyst to help shape pricing decisions that support margin expansion and competitive performance across the business. You will develop pricing analyses, research dimensions of ratemaking, and compare cost factors to inform effective pricing decisions.

In this role you will work independently while partnering with a collaborative team, including the pricing deal desk, Sales, Operations, and GM/"P&L" owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant pricing experience.
• Experience with analytical models, dashboards, data visualizations, and decision tools.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with multiple teams.
• Ability to translate data into concise, actionable insights.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing analyses that evaluate current and future models and margins.
• Research ratemaking dimensions and support pricing insights.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to understand customer value and market conditions.
• Review pricing opportunities and provide recommended price guidance.
• Analyze pricing trends and competitor pricing to identify risks and opportunities.
• Apply statistical modeling to assess pricing impact.
• Support development of dynamic pricing tools and analytics.
• Partner with Sales to implement competitive pricing aligned with strategy.
• Present findings to stakeholders to drive adoption of pricing analytics.
