Job summary

NAES is seeking a PdM Reliability Engineer for the APEX Power Co. Project in Hubbard, TX, currently in Phase 1, expanding to 1.6 GW.

You will lead pre-commissioning readiness for mechanical, electrical, and control systems, validate DCS/PLC functionality, and establish baseline asset health using PdM technologies. During operations, you will drive reliability improvements across turbines, engines, and BESS, perform RCA and CAPA, and coordinate with vendors to sustain safe, compliant plant

Qualifications

Bachelors in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Eng or related field.
Extensive plant engineering with reliability focus.
Knowledge of RCA, PdM, and condition monitoring.
Familiar with DCS/PLC and instrumentation.
Experience with CAPA and root-cause analyses.
Understanding of regulatory and safety requirements.
PdM and condition monitoring techniques.
Experience with OSIsoft PI or similar data systems.
Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-commissioning readiness across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Verify installation quality and conformance of turbines, engines, BESS, and balance-of-plant systems.
Oversee calibration and validation of critical instrumentation and monitoring devices.
Direct validation of DCS/PLC logic, alarms, interlocks, and historian point mapping.
Establish baseline equipment health using PdM technologies to define reference states.
Manage commissioning of condition monitoring systems and data paths.
Lead identification and resolution of pre-commissioning/startup anomalies using RCA methods.
Develop reliability foundations including FMEA/FMECA and CMMS data.
