Job summary

Frank L Blum Construction Co is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to ensure projects are properly set up for success. The role combines estimating, scheduling, site safety review, and team leadership to support preconstruction, marketing and business development efforts.

You will lead the estimating effort, coordinate with Project Managers and Field Managers, manage workloads with assistant estimators, and drive milestones and project strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience leading preconstruction activities and estimating efforts.
• Ability to coach and train junior estimators.
• Strong communication with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple estimates based on size, complexity, and trades.
• Evaluate assistant estimators and identify training needs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Field Managers to align on strategy.
• Represent Blum professionally with clients and subcontractors.
• Build strong relationships with clients and project team.
