Blach Construction Company is hiring a Preconstruction Manager for their Southern California Region. This full-time position involves overseeing all preconstruction activities and estimating for various projects, including collaboration with owners and design teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience in project management or estimating. Compensation includes a competitive salary, vacation, and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or architecture with four or more years of experience.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Blach’s core markets: education, housing, institutional, workplace and mixed-use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preconstruction activities and all levels of estimating.
• Communicate estimates to owners and designers.
• Conduct value engineering and cost studies.
• Prepare Instructions to Bidder's and budget documents.
• Collaborate with Operations teams on subcontractor procurement.
