Job summary

Blum Construction seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead the estimating effort across a range of project types, from design development through bid. You will interface with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors, coordinate with Project Managers and Field Managers, and drive profitability and accuracy in budgeting.

You will train and oversee Assistant Preconstruction Estimators, set milestones, and ensure timely, clean proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience leading preconstruction and estimating efforts.
• Ability to train and develop junior estimators.
• Strong communication with owners, architects and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple estimates across varying project sizes.
• Evaluate and train Assistant Preconstruction Estimators.
• Interface with Owners, Architects, Consultants, Vendors, and Subcontractors.
• Set up estimates to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Develop project goals and manage milestone-driven schedules with the team.
