Job summary

Blum Construction in North Carolina is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the estimating effort across a variety of projects. You will interface with Project Managers, Field Managers and senior leadership to set up projects for profitability and success.

Responsibilities include directing multiple estimates, training Assistant Preconstruction Estimators, and representing Blum with Owners, Architects, Consultants, Vendors and Subcontractors in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in preconstruction estimating or related roles.
• Experience leading estimating teams and interfacing with owners, architects, and subs.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating effort and manage multiple estimates across projects of varying size.
• Coach and train Assistant Preconstruction Estimators and ensure performance meets milestones.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Managers to set up projects for profitability.
• Represent Blum with owners, architects, consultants, vendors, and subs professionally.
