Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree preferred and 1–3 years of practice management experience.
• Thorough understanding of managing staff and a medical office.
• Knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, controls and directs the operational activities of the medical practice.
• Supervises staff and enforces company policies.
• Maintains patient records and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Initiates hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Prepares HR paperwork and maintains current personnel information.
• Coordinates billing and revenue initiatives with Billing personnel and IT as needed.
