Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to shape the voice of a leading data + AI company. You will partner with the Senior Director of Global Communications to drive PR programs for product launches, partnerships, and corporate news.

You will lead top-tier media coverage, craft compelling narratives, and elevate executive communications while leveraging AI-enabled workflows to push the boundaries of a modern comms team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of communications experience in an enterprise software or growth-stage technology company.
• Experience with data and AI companies and technologies; experience leading product PR, corporate PR, and partner communications
• Fluency with AI tools and a track record of using them to improve workflows, accelerate content creation, or streamline research
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences
• Collaborative, team player, with a proven track record of partnering cross-functionally with product, corporate development, partner marketing, legal, and executives
• Deep understanding of the media and new media landscape, with established relationships with key journalists, editors, producers, and creators
• Experience with crisis communications and reputation management
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

• Generating high-quality media coverage: secure top-tier coverage for launches and corporate news.
• Driving cross-functional collaboration: work with marketing, product, and executives on messaging.
• Use agents to raise the bar: automate routine tasks to enable strategic work.
• Creating high-quality content: oversee press releases, blogs, op-eds, talking points, and more.
• Elevating executive communications: develop content for external events and leadership visibility.
• Leading agency relationships: manage PR agencies in North America, ensuring measurable outcomes.
