Job summary

Power Integrations is seeking a technically oriented field engineer to lead customer engagements, design solutions, and present product capabilities. You will be the primary contact for key accounts, develop relationships, and support pre- and post-sales activities.

This role requires extensive travel (about 80%), hands-on design work, and strong presentation skills to translate PI’s power conversion solutions into customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSEE required.
• Experience in power electronics and power conversion topologies.
• Experience in applications/design of end equipment using control ICs & power semiconductors.
• Familiar with EMC and test equipment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects in parallel.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead and first point of contact for all customer requests and support.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships at key accounts.
• Develop and present technical presentations and design solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Prepare technical solutions explaining PI’s product features and benefits.
• Capture commercial information including application details and SOP.
• Manage customer forecast, prepare sales reports and territory updates.
• Perform project engineer functions including design of experiments and simple board layouts.
• Provide pre-sales support to assure product suitability for the application.
• Provide post-sales support for product integration and issue resolution.
• Extensive travel required to focus customers (80%).
