Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks a Portfolio Management Leader to head a team of strategic category managers, optimizing procurement for major spend portfolios. The role shapes category strategies, drives cost management and supplier performance, and partners with senior executives to align business unit needs with strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will develop scoping, budgeting and execution plans, supervise a team, and push continuous improvement across procurement programs.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in materials or services procurement with strategic supply chain exposure.
• Alternative: bachelor's + CPM/CPSM or associate's + CPM/CPSM with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for a portfolio of categories.
• Lead category management to maximize lifecycle value and savings.
• Interface with senior stakeholders to align spend with strategies.
• Drive productivity and process improvements across the portfolio.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing procurement team.
