Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Sr. Portfolio Operations Lead in San Diego, CA. The role drives recurring portfolio management operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and scalable execution across planning, reviews, resource management, and reporting.

The ideal candidate owns end-to-end operational processes, partners with Portfolio Strategy, Data & Analytics, Finance, and cross-functional teams, and continuously improves controls and tooling to support senior leadership decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4-7 years of experience in portfolio operations, business operations, operational reporting, or related function.
Ability to independently own and execute recurring operational processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience collecting and consolidating information from multiple stakeholders and source systems.
Strong business and data acumen to drive improvements through operational data trends.
Experience producing portfolio or operational reports and translating inputs into clear, decision-ready information.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, OnePlan, Power Apps or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Independently own and execute recurring portfolio operational processes with accuracy and timeliness.
Collect, validate, consolidate, and maintain portfolio information from multiple sources.
Own operational execution of resource management activities and portfolio cost reporting.
Administer Time Editor processes including onboarding/offboarding and compliance monitoring.
Produce recurring portfolio reports and ensure outputs are accurate and decision-ready.
Develop and maintain documentation, templates, and work instructions for scalable execution.
Monitor operations, identify gaps, and drive follow-up with stakeholders.
Translate operational needs into requirements and lead tooling enhancements testing.
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
Maintain knowledge and training materials for onboarding and continuity.
