Job summary

MassMutual is seeking an experienced Project Portfolio Management Consultant to join the Strategy & Transformation team in a hybrid role based at our Springfield headquarters. You will drive governance frameworks, forecast demand and capacity, and deliver executive-ready dashboards to enable informed decisions.

This is a business-focused role requiring deep portfolio governance knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of experience in project/portfolio governance
• 5 years’ experience in project or portfolio governance (PMO)
• 5 years’ experience documenting current-state workflows and leading optimization
• 5 years’ experience with Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros
• 3 years’ experience with Clarity PPM (Demand & Capacity, Financials, Portfolio Reporting)

Responsibilities

• Establish governance frameworks to advance project portfolio maturity
• Facilitate forecasting and capacity planning sessions with managers
• Develop executive-ready dashboards and reports on demand, capacity, and utilization
• Translate portfolio data into actionable insights for senior leadership
• Lead data governance, integrity checks, and updates in Clarity PPM
