Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Principal Portfolio & Delivery Lead to manage the Order to Cash initiative within the Finance Transformation Office. You will partner with Finance, IT, and Product to drive standardization and value realization across the O2C stack.

The role emphasizes governance, ROI tracking, and executive stakeholder engagement, with opportunities to advance AI/ML automation and SOX controls in automated billing.

Qualifications

10+ years of corporate finance or portfolio management, ideally in a fast-growing SaaS or enterprise software environment.
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and its impact on billing architectures and financial systems portfolio prioritization.

Responsibilities

Own the Order to Cash (O2C) initiative portfolio, including prioritization, sequencing, and value realization.
Establish portfolio management standards, metrics, and reporting that provide transparency into progress, risk, and outcomes.
Bridge Finance, IT, and Product to align technology roadmaps with corporate finance plans; track ROI and value realization.
