Job summary

Associa is seeking a Portfolio Association Manager to oversee on-site management of assigned community associations in Washington DC and Howard County. The role involves supervising operations, interacting with homeowners, boards, vendors, and the CSSC to ensure alignment with management agreements.

The candidate should have 3+ years in management within community associations, with CMCA/AMS/PCAM being highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Required; Bachelors Degree Preferred.
• 3+ years of Management and/or Supervisory experience.
• 3–5 years of Community Association experience is required.
• CMCA, AMS, PCAM designations are highly desired.
• Knowledge of the role of the association board and the Community Association Manager.
• Professional communication skills and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation and administration of the Association in accordance with the management agreement and policies.
• Acts as liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners.
• Review monthly financial reports and provide management summaries to the Board.
• Provide recommendations to the Board regarding major capital expenditures.
• Monitor delinquency rates and collections for the portfolio.
• Attend Board meetings and community events as needed.
• Prepare Board packages within established timeframes.
• Maintain files related to operations and assist with architectural reviews.
