Job summary

UNOPS Global Portfolios Office seeks an Advisor, Portfolio Management for the Water, Environment and Climate (WEC) portfolio. This home-based, retainer role supports portfolio delivery, growth, and partnerships with donors and multilateral funds.

The assignment spans up to 120 working days in a 12-month period, with payments upon completion. You will translate climate trends into operational approaches, develop service lines, and collaborate across WEC and GPO teams to ensure strategic alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with international development/climate focus.
• 7+ years in project/programme management or portfolio management.
• Experience advising multi-stakeholder climate or environmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Guide Strategic Portfolio Development and Positioning across WEC.
• Lead Concept Note and Proposal Development.
• Oversee Project Set-up and Operationalization.
