Job summary

World Vision in the United States seeks a Technical Advisor (Climate & Environment – Green Climate Fund Projects) to provide specialist inputs for CNs and funding proposals, strengthening climate rationale and adaptation/mitigation measures across WVI programs.

You will collaborate with country teams and partners to ensure submissions are technically sound, aligned with GCF guidance, and support capacity building across health, WASH, education, renewable energy and waste management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental management, climate change, public health, WASH, renewable energy, or related field.
• Master’s degree or post-graduate specialization highly regarded.
• Excellent writing and proposal development skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical advice to support programme design and CNs/proposals within your technical area.
• Advise on design of climate-resilient and environmentally sustainable interventions aligned with GCF criteria.
• Undertake technical review and QA of drafts for coherence, feasibility, and guidance alignment.
• Develop practical guidance and training to strengthen team capability.
