Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Pool group in Coppell, TX. You will identify high-value opportunities in top-tier accounts, craft tailored strategies, and manage relationships with executives to close complex deals.

You will lead end-to-end sales with cross-functional teams, forecast opportunities using CRM, and stay ahead of industry trends to inform strategy. Travel up to 75% is expected in this role.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new high-value business opportunities within top-tier accounts.
• Develop tailored sales strategies to penetrate and win top accounts, with a focus on long-term revenue generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with executives, directors, and other key decision-makers within target organizations.
• Lead end-to-end sales processes from initial contact to closing, including negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer service) to create compelling proposals, presentations, and solutions that meet client needs.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales opportunities using CRM tools.
• Continuously stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to inform sales strategies.
• Travel up to 75%.
