Job summary

Indiana Community Action Association seeks a Research & Policy Director in Indianapolis, IN. Full-time, Exempt. Salary range $70,000–$80,000 with generous benefits.

Reports to the Executive Director and supervises Institute staff. Location: Indianapolis with some travel in and out of state. The Director will lead fundraising, build partnerships, manage research quality and methods, and drive strategic planning for advocacy goals.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience and three years in a management role.
• Knowledge of the legislative process, research methods, and statistical analysis.
• Experience in fundraising, including securing grants and funder relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Institute staff and coordinate projects to meet funder requirements on time and budget.
• Maintain funder relationships, identify new funders, and prepare grant proposals and reports.
• Oversee research methods, develop policy and research agendas, and prepare reports and memos.
