Job summary

The Senior Manager, System Strategy & Solutions at the Medical University of South Carolina leads enterprise-wide supply chain strategic initiatives and the PMO, partnering with the Executive Director to drive transformation and long-term value creation across the health system's supply chain.

This role focuses on scalable solutions, system governance, and digital enablement to optimize performance and enable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years leading complex projects or strategic initiatives.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and enterprise-level initiatives.
• Experience with business cases, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Experience with project portfolio management, process improvement, and technology-enabled transformation.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations including sourcing, procure-to-pay, logistics, supplier management, and analytics.
• Experience with ERP, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives (Workday, ServiceNow).
• Exceptional analytical, communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute system-wide supply chain strategy and roadmap with executive leadership.
• Lead and oversee the PMO, establishing governance standards, methodologies, tools, and reporting.
• Design scalable solutions and translate requirements into future-state processes and technology plans.
• Advance performance metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Partner with analytics and business leaders to monitor value realization and communicate progress to executives.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project managers and OE professionals.
