Job summary
ERCOT is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee IT and Business projects within a formal PMO, ensuring governance, timely delivery, and transparent reporting. You will manage diverse teams, coordinate across functions, and drive strategic outcomes in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities include guiding delivery strategy, maintaining schedules and budgets, and communicating with sponsors and leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Experience managing projects within a formal enterprise PMO.
- Experience managing medium/high complexity projects with cross-functional resources.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated environment with formal documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple medium/high complexity projects across diverse workstreams and resources.
- Partner with PMO management to determine delivery strategy and drive stakeholder awareness.
- Provide concise executive-level communication and recommendations to sponsors and leadership.
- Maintain detailed project plans, budgets, risks, and scope across the project lifecycle.
- Navigate a matrixed resource environment and manage external dependencies and vendors.
