Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Project Governance/PMO Lead to join our team and operate onsite at client sites across multiple locations, including Houston, Texas.

You’ll oversee governance, reporting, and control systems while coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning groups to drive project success. You’ll review vendor/sub-contractor documentation for governance compliance, support design options, and assist Project Engineers and Project Managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering, construction or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong program management, budget management, risk management and stakeholder engagement skills are expected.
• Experience with defining project management frameworks, templates, tools and best practices.
• Proficient in PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Lean) and core processes like risk, scope and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Establish project governance processes and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with client, company, and project procedures.
• Maintain project management plans, execution strategies, and control systems.
• Coordinate stage-gate reviews and project audits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports, liaising with project department leads to ensure timely input and completeness of information.
• Consolidate project KPIs and performance metrics.
• Develop executive-level dashboards for project leadership and client stakeholders.
• Ensure data consistency across all reports.
