Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking an Economics Development & Data Center Integration Manager to lead complex projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate with customers, internal partners, and external vendors to ensure stakeholder alignment and successful outcomes.

You will develop schedules, budgets, risk plans, and status reports, represent AEP to large commercial and industrial clients, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, project management, economics, computer science, communications, or related field.
Eight (8) years of relevant experience in project management, customer project coordination, economic development, utility operations, large customer account management, infrastructure development, engineering, construction management, or related experience.
PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate assigned projects from initiation through completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets, and status reporting.
Serve as a primary liaison for customers, internal stakeholders, contractors, and consultants.
Effectively communicate project status, key milestones, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
Lead project meetings, customer discussions, and stakeholder reviews while ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
