Arcosa Careers seeks an Environmental Health & Safety professional to design and oversee safety programs across our Tulsa, OK manufacturing facilities. You will implement safety practices to protect employees and the surrounding community.

Responsibilities include compliance investigations, accident analysis, safety metrics, and risk reduction initiatives. A BS in safety-related field and 3–5 years industrial experience are required, with strong OSHA/EPA knowledge and independent decision-making.

Qualifications

• BS in safety science, safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, occupational health, engineering or other industrial discipline.
• Equivalent work experience of 3-5 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and Workers' Compensation regulations
• Ability to handle confidential company information

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements, and oversees EH&S programs to safeguard employees and communities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conducts studies and investigations for compliance with government safety, health, and environmental regulations and industrial hygiene.
• Investigates accidents and promotes safety-minded performance and training programs.
• Provides safety performance measures and plans to improve safety outcomes.
• Performs routine safety activities using standard techniques and procedures.
• Plans work, tracks progress, and adjusts to meet goals.
• Determines root cause analyses.
