Job summary

ALCOM LLC is seeking a Plant Controller to lead cost accounting and financial reporting for its Sioux Falls, SD and Bonner, MT manufacturing facilities. You will partner with plant leadership to drive cost control, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

The role requires overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while ensuring GAAP compliance and effective internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee Plant cost accounting operations, including general ledger and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Plant financial statements.
• Assist Corporate Accounting with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and company accounting policies.
• Coordinate external audits and tax reporting for the Plants.
• Lead cost accounting activities for SD and MT operations.
• Develop and monitor plant KPIs related to labor, scrap, inventory turns, and productivity.
• Provide financial models to evaluate operational initiatives and improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for Plants.
• Maintain internal controls and support ERP and BOM optimization.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
