Job summary

Ahlstrom is seeking a Plant Controller to partner with the Plant Manager and lead financial management for the Rhinelander or Kaukauna facility, onsite only. You will handle general and cost accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support operations.

You will drive profitability through standard costing, inventory accuracy, audits, and KPI tracking, while delivering actionable insights to operations and coordinating with the global Business Unit team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and Excel.
• Ability to work in a team and discuss business issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, forecasting, budgeting, and month end close reporting for the plant.
• Calculate profitability analysis and standard product costs.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory, manage regular audits.
• Provide analytical and strong business support to operations team.
• Ensure accuracy of plant scorecard and other relevant KPI’s.
• Identify cost saving opportunities and work with operations on implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the team with financial data as needed, explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues.
• Provide investment analysis, including pay-back of closed projects.
• Coordinate with global Business Unit team on key objectives.
