Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a hands-on Plant Controller to lead site accounting and finance. You will partner with the Plant Manager to drive cost visibility, operational performance, and accurate financial reporting across the site.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability analysis while ensuring internal controls and compliance with SOX and GAAP. Strong manufacturing accounting background is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting background with standard costing and inventory valuation.
• Experience with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606); defense contracting preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant accounting, controlling, and financial planning activities with site leadership.
• Maintain cost accounting, inventory valuation, variances, margins, and profitability reporting.
• Oversee annual budget, forecasts, labor/overhead planning, and capital spending.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly results, KPIs, and narratives for leadership.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance; coordinate audits.
