Thales North Kingstown, RI, USA seeks a Manufacturing Controller to manage plant financials, close activities, KPI reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with plant management and corporate controllers to drive financial discipline and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include month end close, cost and variance analyses, inventory valuation, standard costing, capex oversight, and acting as financial partner to local management with

Qualifications

• BA in Finance (or related field) with 5+ years of experience in controlling.
• Analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management under deadlines.
• Excellent communication, team player, integrity; knowledge of manufacturing controlling and ERP systems (Oracle a plus).
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Month End Close: prepare journal entries, cost allocations and variance analyses.
• Financial Reporting: KPI reports and closing package for management and corporate controllers.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: lead yearly plant budget, rolling forecasts, and variance follow-up.
• Other Duties: act as financial partner to plant management, capex oversight, asset management, and internal/external audits.
