Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Fenton, MO is seeking a Planning Manager to lead production planning and inventory control. You will mentor planners, align with plant leadership, and ensure on-time manufacturing while optimizing service and costs.

Strong analytics, communication, and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success. The role requires a supply chain degree, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and data analytics tools; CPSM/APICS certification

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required (Supply Chain degree desirable).
3-5 years of relevant experience in business or industry.
Supply chain management and planning/scheduling knowledge with manufacturing experience or knowledge.
Excellent communication, project management, and relationship building skills.
Strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills & ability to engage and communicate with internal & external customers.
High motivation and results-oriented work ethic.
High proficiency and capability in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Business Objects, and data analytics processes.
CPSM or APICS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead planning/scheduling to optimize capacity and inventory levels.
Collaborate with production supervisors and divisional teams to meet customer expectations.
Establish performance metrics and monitor plant performance.
Use analytics to identify improvements for efficiency and cash flow.
Coordinate engineering changes, line extensions, or new launches for material flow.
Facilitate production meetings and manage backlog visibility.
