Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate for Strategic Planning & Operations to support Global Development Business Operations. You will partner with SP&O colleagues, stakeholders, and management to drive governance, process health, and operational excellence.

This role covers chartering, facilitation, deliverable development, budget support, SharePoint design, and document management. A collaborative, analytical mindset and strong Microsoft Office and project tool experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of project/business management experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of project/business management experience
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet and database design is helpful

Responsibilities

Project management assistance including chartering, facilitation, presenting and deliverable development within project timelines
Organizational, scheduling and operational excellence for governance and SPO Operations
Global Development Contracts Subject Matter Expert support
TA Budget management assistance
SharePoint design/maintenance
Administrative support, calendars, meeting planning
Develop and/or manage department documents (e.g. onboarding guides)
