Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate for Strategic Planning & Operations in the United States. The role supports Global Development Business Operations, coordinating governance, budgeting, and contract-related activities to keep programs on track.

You will work with stakeholders at multiple levels, using tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint, and may engage in chartering, facilitation and deliverable development within tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree with 4+ years of project/business management experience OR high school diploma with 6+ years of project/business management experience.
• Proven ability to support governance and operations in a global development setting.
• Proficient use of MS Office suite and SharePoint; familiarity with MS Project and Smartsheet is preferred.
• Strong organizational, scheduling and communication skills to manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support including chartering, facilitation, presenting and deliverable development within project timelines.
• Organize and manage governance and SPO operations for operational excellence.
• Serve as subject matter expert on Global Development Contracts and provide compliance support.
• Assist with TA budgeting and financial tracking.
• Design/maintain SharePoint sites and department documents.
• Provide calendar, meeting planning and admin support; assist onboarding materials.
