First Merchants Bank seeks a Managing Director of Commercial Bank Strategic Planning to lead the planning, forecasting and growth analytics for the Commercial Line of Business. You will partner with the Chief Commercial Officer and executive leadership to align strategy with performance, investments and resource allocation across major segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field (advanced degree/designation preferred).
• 7+ years in strategic planning, finance, accounting, or corporate development.
• Knowledge of commercial banking or financial services models and growth drivers.
• Deep understanding of forecasting, performance-management processes and systems.
• Advanced planning, scenario analysis, forecasting and business-case development capabilities.
• Ability to link external trends with actionable business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and long-range strategic planning across Commercial Bank segments.
• Translate strategy into measurable financial and operational objectives.
• Develop multi-year growth and investment scenarios.
• Drive forecasting capabilities and rolling forecasts across segments.
