Danone North America, LLC is hiring a Planning Manager for our West Jordan, Utah facility. The role focuses on creating leveled production schedules, releasing orders, and capacity planning to meet manufacturing targets.

You will drive KPI development, lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, coach direct reports, and partner with suppliers and internal teams to optimize scheduling, supply planning, and on-time performance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supply chain experience in planning required.
• Strong Excel experience required.
• SAP experience required.
• 5+ years’ food industry experience preferred.
• APICS CPIM certified preferred.
• Purchasing, scheduling and inventory management experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Create and manage leveled production schedules using APO.
• Prepare and release production orders and monitor on-time completion.
• Conduct capacity planning for production lines to meet targets.
• Conduct capacity planning for processing department.
• Establish and influence best practices for scheduling and supply planning.
• Define and implement KPIs for measuring progress.
• Develop training programs and progression plans for direct reports.
• Develop strategic partnerships to increase planning efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional improvement strategies.
• Lead effective interactions across all organizational levels.
• Champion best practices in scheduling to support Safety and Quality initiatives.
• Oversee communication of customer service delays to production schedule and forecast.
• Supervise production planning for the broader Product Supply Team.
• Oversee development and execution of predictive schedules (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual).
• Coordinate inputs from demand planning, customer service, logistics, procurement, and production facility planners.
• Coordinate capacity/supply constraint recovery plans with stakeholders.
• Support cost reduction through efficient capacity utilization.
• Gain consensus on pipeline fills and seasonal products.
