Job summary

Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) is seeking a Business Planning Manager to lead strategic planning, organizational development, and service expansion initiatives. You will collaborate with Executive Leadership to translate priorities into actionable plans and build partnerships with Tribal organizations, communities, and healthcare partners.

The role emphasizes strategic advisory work, project oversight, and driving continuous improvement across departments to strengthen community health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public administration, or a related field.
• Five years of progressive experience in strategic planning, organizational development, or related areas; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with executives and diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead organization-wide strategic planning and implementation initiatives.
• Partner with Executive Leadership to identify strategic priorities and opportunities.
• Coordinate planning, execution, and evaluation of strategic projects.
• Conduct market research, community needs assessments, and organizational analyses.
• Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and executive reports.
• Support development of new programs, services, and partnerships.
• Lead organizational development and change management to improve collaboration and effectiveness.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and cross-functional workgroups.
• Monitor progress using organizational metrics and recommend improvements.
