Job summary

Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) is seeking a Social Services Coordinator to develop and manage community-based program services, oversee grant-funded initiatives, and coordinate across departments and partners to maximize resources and reduce gaps. The role supports community wellness, violence prevention, and access to critical support services.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in health and social services administration or related field and at least four years of experience in

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health and social services administration, early childhood development, or a related field; four years of experience in social services or early childhood education.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
  • Relevant coursework in early childhood development and/or health and social services administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Upholds KANA’s Code of Ethics by conducting all professional activities with honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect
  • Manages assigned grant-funded programs to ensure effective service delivery and alignment with community needs
  • Implements grant requirements, prepares reports, oversees budgets, and ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and Tribal regulations
  • Maintains relationships with funders, contractors, and community partners to support program success

Education
