Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Planning or related field; 5–7 years in lead or supervisory planning roles.
• Experience with land development, development review, project management, and strategic planning.
• Equivalent combination of training and/or experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Leads highly complex, multidisciplinary planning and development initiatives.
• Oversees complex development review processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develops strategic initiatives and performance metrics to improve operations.
• Performs policy analyses, prepares executive-level reports and presentations.
• Coordinates stakeholder engagement with City leadership, agencies, and the public.
• Mentors staff and may supervise professional/technical personnel.
• Represents the department before boards, commissions, and elected officials.
• Drives process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
