Job summary

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to lead the integrated development schedule and capital execution plans across our operated asset portfolio. You’ll collaborate with reservoir, drilling, production, facilities, land, commercial, and finance teams to align development activities with corporate objectives.

This role emphasizes schedule management, scenario analysis, and reporting that drive informed decisions across the development program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or related field; 5+ years upstream oil & gas experience.
• Experience supporting integrated development planning, capital program management, scheduling, forecasting, or cross-functional operations coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute operational plans and business objectives.
• Proficiency with development planning and scheduling software; knowledge of Actenum DSO or similar tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex operational and economic scenarios.
• Experience building reports, dashboards, and visualization tools using Power BI, Spotfire, or similar BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the integrated development schedule for drilling, completions, production, facilities, and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, land, midstream, and commercial teams to align activities with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate schedule updates, milestones, and timing changes to provide visibility into performance and capital program execution.
• Support planning with scenario evaluation and sensitivity analysis for changing conditions.
• Generate and distribute planning reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for decision-makers.
• Assist budgeting, long-range planning, reserves planning, and forecast processes with schedule-driven inputs.
• Identify risks and optimization opportunities to improve capital efficiency and execution.
• Validate planning data integrity across functions and ensure accurate dependencies and criteria.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of planning tools and automated workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, forecasting, and business processes via new technologies and analytics.
• Provide technical support and presentations to management regarding development plans and strategic alternatives.
