Job summary

Safran Cabin in Washington state is seeking a Planning Manager to lead a team of planning professionals and own scheduling, planning and inventory activities. You will develop production plans, manage work flow, monitor performance against customer delivery requirements, and drive S&OP processes while ensuring ERP data accuracy.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration and a focus on continuous improvement within the planning and inventory functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5 years of progressive planning, scheduling and inventory management experience in aerospace, automotive or mechanical manufacturing.
2-5 years of experience leading teams.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
Strong written and verbal business communications abilities.
Understanding of S&OP processes.
Problem solving, well organized, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of planning professionals and oversee scheduling, planning and inventory activities.
Develop production plan, budget and timeliness according to production specifications.
Plan work flow and schedules for production departments and monitor status to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate needs and objectives to the planning team and mentor staff.
Ensure accuracy of ERP data and support continuous improvements in planning, scheduling and inventory.
