Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Strategic Planning and Business Development Analyst to provide business planning and analytical support. The role is onsite in Midland, MI and involves interfacing with executive leaders to develop strategic plans for the health system.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in a related field and 3–5 years in health care finance or operations, with strong data analysis and presentation skills. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; Masters preferred.
• Three to five years in health care finance or operations preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to present data to executives.
• Experience with data analysis across multiple databases and decision support systems.
• Familiarity with TB/OSHA training and computer skills assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate strategic planning, service lines, and business development with timely analysis.
• Produce quarterly market share reports and analyze market data for new opportunities.
• Ensure accuracy of market, environmental, and competitive data; provide special reports.
• Produce value analyses for partnerships and potential mergers or acquisitions.
• Handle CON filings and develop financial projections for filings.
• Create and deliver presentations translating data into actionable information.
• Collaborate with service line leaders to maintain business plans and financial reports.
• Contribute to manpower planning for physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Work with leaders and finance to explain variances and ensure data accuracy.
